The major thing to consider is whether you’re able to produce HLS/DASH/CMAF from your Origin server and are only looking for CDN delivery or if you need encoding to HTTP format as well.

Playback

Playback must always be an HTTP segmented protocol (HLS, DASH, CMAF) to ensure compatibility with web players and the ability to cache streams on CDN.
