How can we help you?

Creating your first CDN resource?

When you first setup your account you’ll be taken to the main dashboard page inside your client section. Here you can create your first CDN resource. We’ve tried to make the client section intuitive and easy to use.

Here we briefly describes what are different types of CDN resources, and you can click on each type to check the step by step guide on how to set up your CDN resource as well as how to integrate your website with it.

HTTP CDN Resource

A HTTP CDN resource is what is needed to utilize the HTTP Caching type of CDN. The process is quite straightforward. The static assets from your website are located on your origin server. We pull these static files from your origin server in order to cache it and serve it from our CDN network.

The main purpose of a HTTP CDN resource is to serve small static content like Stylesheets (.css), images, JavaScript files, text files, and small PDFs.  As long as the files are under 10MB it's best to use this type of CDN Resource. (For files over 10MB, check out the CDN storage )This type of CDN resource is simple to set up and there are several benefits. Your website will be at least five times faster, your search results will improve and you'll have higher conversion rates too.

You can quickly set one up from within your CDN77 control panel. Depending on your website the steps necessary to integrate your website into the CDN network may vary. Regardless the integration is automatic and we'll provide you with all the necessary documentation.

Video On Demand Resource

A Video On Demand resource is similar to a HTTP CDN resource in that it utilizes the HTTP caching type of CDN. The main difference is that the static content is video. It allows you to directly upload your media content into our CDN77 data centre.

This resource is best used when you want to distribute media content that has been pre-recorded. You can also use this resource if your website hosts large static files like software updates and PDF documents. By using this resource, problems with buffering will no longer be an issue. We support all the leading video and audio formats including FLV (Flash), MP4 (HTML5 videos), MOV(Quicktime), WMV (Windows Media), MP3 and WAV.  Seek (pseudostreaming) funcionality is available forMP4 and FLV formats. Once your website has been integrated you’ll be able to load all of your advertisements, presentations and movie clips with lightning fast speeds.Your visitors will love you for it.
