Wordpress CDN integration using W3 Total Cache plugin

Before you take any steps please backup your Wordpress site and database.

1. The first thing you have to do is install the W3 Total Cache plugin to your Wordpress blog. There are two different ways to install the plugin.

  • Go to the following page and download the plugin (You do not need to unzip this file).

  • Login to your Wordpress administration section.

  • Go to Plugins and click on Add new.

  • Click on the Upload link in the top navigation bar.

  • Click on the Choose File button and browse to the W3 Total Cache plugin you downloaded.

  • Click on the Install now button to install the extension into your website.

  • Click on Activate to run the plugin.


  • Log into your Wordpress administration section

  • Click on the Search link in the top navigation bar

  • Type W3 Total Cache in the input and click on Search Plugins

  • Select Install now

  • Click on Activate to run the plugin.

2. In the side menu find the Performance tab and click on it to open the W3T main configuration area.

3. Scroll down to the CDN section.

4. Check Enable and select Generic Mirror from CDN type drop down.

5. Click Save all settings as shown in the image.

7. In the side menu under Performance or in the horizontal menu at top of the page click on CDN.

8. Scroll down to the Configuration section and enter your CDN URL or CNAME in the input field. If you’re not using a CNAME you can retrieve the CDN URL by logging into the management area of your CDN Resource in your client section.

9. Click Save all settings.

10. Go back to General section. Click on the Deploy button followed by the Save all settings as shown in the picture.




If by clicking on Deploy you are forwarded to the page displaying: WordPress Failure Notice : Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.

Click on Please try again.

You should now see a yellow header at the top. Click on the Deploy button.

To confirm that the plugin is working view the page source of your website. If your URL paths are showing the CNAME then you've successfully integrated your website with our CDN77 Network.
